City of Hope is a top rated clinical cancer research and treatment center, hospital and graduate medical school in the U.S.
Since the graduate school program began in 1994, City of Hope's Irell & Manella Graduate School of Biological Sciences has been informing, supporting and encouraging some of the best scientific minds in the field.
To make a rigorous and highly selective admissions process more human-centered and less stressful on both Applicants and Faculty, in 2010 Brainroll team was asked [at the time, I led Product Design, Research and Development there] to create a custom version of Brainroll Online Application System to fit the specific requirements of the City of Hope grad program.
The customization process took almost 10 months and when the system was first launched in September of 2011, it got great reviews from Faculty, Admissions Office and Applicants. It has been running with minor modifications through 2019.
